By The Haunting in Connecticut, I mean the 2009 movie, not the treatment from the Discovery Channel series A Haunting.

Honestly? Not that scary, and it tries too hard. If you catch it on TV on a slow night and preferably with a six-pack of friends, by all means, but it really is middle-of-the-road. Not even mockable.

( Oh, you haven't seen it? Very well, a cut for spoilers, then. Also mentions of cancer, perceived psychotic breaks, and defiling corpses (but not necrophilia, thank God). )

My husband has paid money for Zardoz. The hell.
